Insects

After many days of rain we had some sunshine yesterday and a trip in the garden rewarded us with lots of insects. There was a blue butterfly, a small white, ladybirds



large red damselflies emerging from the ponds

 

and three types of shield bugs including a common green shieldbug



and the beautiful woundwort shieldbug Eysarcoris fabricii, which is a new species for Frog End
